1. iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO
The iRobot Roomba i3+ is a fantastic robot vacuum with a number smart features to make it easier to maintain. Its automatic bin emptying is one of the most convenient features we've seen in an iRobot, and it works well on both hard floors and carpets. It's also simple to install and use with the app that guides you step-by-step through the procedure. Another feature that is impressive is the ability to go back to where it was when we tested it. It did this for 77 minutes in one cleaning before running out of battery.
The i3+ EVO is different from the other robot vacuums we have tested, comes with a self-emptying bin that automatically dumps debris into an external dirt container on its charging base when it is full. This reduces hands-on maintenance and also helps prevent the i3+ EVO from overfilling, however it must be manually cleaned after each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO's built-in dust bin can hold 2.4L of trash and is more than enough to get it through five or four cleaning sessions before you have to replace it.
Similar to the i7, this model uses state-of-the-art floor tracking sensors to create maps and navigate neat rows. The i3+ EVO can only keep one map, whereas the i7 is able to store multiple. The i7's map can be used to create virtual barriers and no-go zones, however, not the i3+ EVO.
Although the i3+ EVO is superior in removing debris on surfaces than the other robovacs we looked at however, it's not the most effective in terms of cleaning corners and edges. robotic vacuums 's also more abrasive on furniture, despite being remarkably quiet. It pushed chairs away from walls and made some collisions with the sides of our bed, and was stuck to cords and toys while testing.
2. Black & Decker Pro Q5
The Q5 Pro is an excellent choice, whether you are expanding your collection of robot vacuums or just starting out. It has a sleek design with powerful navigation and efficient automation at a low price. It's the most affordable model for the money on the market at the moment and is even better than other Roborock models which are much more expensive in a variety of ways.

The Q5 Pro comes with a large dust bin that is 770ml, meaning that you won't have to empty it as frequently as other 2-in-1 robots. Its 240-minute runtime is quite generous in comparison to other robots we've tested. If the battery is empty it goes back to its dock and recharges before resuming cleaning where it left off. You can control the Q5 Pro via the app and make voice commands using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
This is among the first robots we've seen to incorporate 3D mapping. This, along with other innovations, helped it perform exceptionally well in our tests of vacuuming and mopping tests. You can schedule cleanings, set no-go zones and see the status of the battery as well as other things. The app is easy to use, but it isn't compatible with Apple HomeKit. That feature is scheduled to be added in 2025. As of the beginning of November, Apple has updated a footnote on its website to indicate that this feature will be delayed until 2025. Several other robots don't work with HomeKit, but many of them work with Siri Shortcuts.

This model utilizes an internal dToF LiDAR sensor to map your home and create efficient cleaning routes. The iMop was highly rated for its navigation and coverage. It also did a great job avoiding obstacles like furniture. It's also able to locate its way back to the base station, which is a nice feature in case it runs out of battery during a cleaning session.
The spot cleaning mode allows you to clean a particular area of your floor. It can also be manually programmed to follow a predetermined path, which is useful in narrow staircases or hallways. In our carpet cleaning test, it performed well cleaning carpets. However, it had a difficult time to clean rugs and carpets with longer piles.
